Review of the Wiltshire Core Strategy

Wiltshire Council is reviewing the Wiltshire Core Strategy adopted in January 2015 which identifies land for development for the period to 2036.

Following draft papers by Wiltshire Council’s Cabinet on 10 October 2017,  a consultation on the scope and content of the review is to start mid November.

It will run for 6 weeks.

There are to be briefings on the consultation to explain to all parish and town councils the proposed approach to joint working with Swindon Borough Council on housing and employment needs over the period.

CPRE have been invited to attend at the four consultation locations. Trowbridge, Chippenham, Royal Wootton Bassett and Salisbury.
