The Campaign to Protect Rural England, South Wiltshire Group, invites you and your friends to a screening of Six Inches of Soil.

Join us on Friday 11th April at St John’s Place, Bemerton, Salisbury SP2 9NP to watch this
highly acclaimed documentary film that tells the inspiring story of three young British farmers
standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food to
heal the soil, our health and provide for local communities.

Q & A and discussion led by Peter Thompson, agronomist and farmland ecology advisor, with
Peter Shallcross, a farmer based in Tisbury with a passion for regenerative farming and wildlife.

Tickets through TicketSource are £6 for CPRE members and £8 for non-members.

St John’s volunteers will be running a bar during the evening offering a choice of wine, beer, soft drinks and tea & coffee but there will be no food. Bar proceeds will go to St John’s.

St John’s Place is a wonderful renovated building in Lower Bemerton, not far from the centre of Salisbury. There’s a car park next to Bemerton St John’s Primary School and overflow parking on the cricket field as well as parking along Lower Road.
The last R8 bus from Salisbury stops near St John’s at about 6pm but after the event you’ll need to walk to the Skew Bridge stop on Wilton Road to catch an R3 or R10 bus to the city.
