Colin and Penny have invited us back to this very special garden.

Saturday 15th June – Beggars Knoll Chinese Garden, Westbury, Wiltshire BA13 3ED

 

You can choose 10:30am or 2:30pm

A series of Chinese-style garden rooms, separated by elaborate gateways including Moongate, with mosaic paths winding past pavilions, ponds and many rare Chinese trees, shrubs and flowers. Relatively new, a tranquil Islamic-style tiled garden influenced by NW China. Potager full of flowers and vegetables. Spectacular views to the Mendips.

Tickets are £10 per adult which includes a tour, refreshments and cake.

Directions

From the B3098 Westbury to West Lavington road, turn south east at White Horse Pottery onto Newtown, shortly before leaving Westbury. Beggars Knoll is about 1 km along this road which rises up the north slope of Salisbury Plain.  Please share transport if possible.
