BEST KEPT VILLAGE COMPETITION 2026

The County Round has begun! 

The wait is over! Judging is now underway for the County Round of the 2026 Best Kept Village Competition, alongside the Laurence Kitching Competition – our special ‘Winners of Winners’ competition featuring the 2024 and 2025 champions.

Judging runs from 27 June – 19 July.

Our fantastic volunteer judges have now been briefed and are heading out across Wiltshire to visit some truly wonderful villages. We know they’ll receive a warm welcome and see first-hand the amazing community spirit, pride and dedication that makes Wiltshire’s villages so special.

A huge thank you to every volunteer judge for giving up your time to support the competition, and to our wonderful sponsors Wiltshire Council and idverde for helping make it all possible.

Good luck to every village taking part – we can’t wait to celebrate your achievements over the coming weeks!
