Flooding

Recent flooding has affected Wiltshire.

It raises the question about new developments, roads or housing being allocated on sites close to, or likely to be affected by, flooding rivers.  Chippenham and Melksham are two prominent areas falling into this category.  This will be an important part of the discussion about the review of the Local Plan under the heading of Soundness.
